The Mild Seven Outdoor Quest ( MSOQ), Asia's premier adventure race. China has hosted the international adventure race four times, with the inaugural race held in Xichang of southwest China's Sichuan Province in 1997. 1998's & 1999's races moved to Dali, capital city of the Dali Bai Autunomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province. The 2000 MSOQ was held in Lijiang in Yunnan Province.
